The BBQ Blog chronicles our adventures in search of the perfect all-natural BBQ.
The BBC has an interesting take on American BBQ. Apparently BBQ is spreading to the UK and will soon dominate the earth!
Here is the article.
As I posted over at the Virtual Weber Bullet forum, I cooked breakfast on my Weber! In fact, I have cooked breakfast twice.
My first breakfast was organic bacon and eggs and a homemade cappuccino.
I recently got a cast iron griddle and a special grate from Weber that allows me to use it on my 22.5 inch Weber kettle. It is a lot of fun.
I love breakfast!
We are in FL for a unrelated photo-shoot, and have finally wrapped for the day. Alex is coming up from Ft. Lauderdale and Josh, Adam, Alex, and I are headed over to visit Jeremy and his family. The idea of grilling came up, one thing lead to another, and we are planning on making some Beer-Can chicken.
Jeremy has a gasser, which I am not that used to cooking on, but we shouldn't have any problems. We found a Lowe's and picked up some hickory and mesquite chips and a small cast iron smoker box, so we don't make a mess in his grill.
Also picked up a syringe to inject the birds with and a couple of stands to help support the chickens once they are on their thrones. We are going to head to the grocery now, and pick up some chickens and the supplies for our injection, rub, and sauce.
