I don't know how I missed this one, but there is a New England BBQ Society sacntioned bbq contest happening in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn this weekend, March 25th.
Guess where I will be on Saturday.
Well, according to this posting, Trader Joes has finally opened here in NYC.
I'll have to take a trip into Manhattan to see if they have the ONE thing I want most from them - Tri-Tip. There is nothing like a tri-tip grilled over oak. It is like a steak and brisket all in one.
The Long Island Grill Kings are holding a KCBS Judging Certification class. If you live in the New York area, this might be your only chance to take a class like this in the area.
